Independence Day Celebrations(Juniors)

 ·       Independence Day Celebrations were held with much fervour and zeal by the students of the Junior Wing of Sumeet Rahul Goel Memorial  Senior Secondary School on the 14th August in the school auditorium.India’s Freedom struggle was beautifully portrayed by the little ones of std III.

·         Students of standard IV showcased the life of soldiers who work relentlessly to safeguard the country under extremely difficult circumstances.

·         The message was to inculcate respect for soldiers and at the same time it encouraged students to join the Defence Forces.

·         Standard V students presented the post Independence development till date carrying forward the slogan of " जय जवान ,जय किसान ,जय विज्ञान "

·         The school advisor Mrs.Manoj Bal,Principal Ms.Shubhanjili and Vice Principal Mr.Surendra Pal Singh presided over the celebrations.

Independence Day Celebrated with Great Fervour

 The School celebrated the Independence Day with great festive fervour. The ceremonial flag hoisting was followed by a cultural programme presented by the students. The programme included inspirational patriotic songs and vibrant dance performances. Combining Janamashtami celebrations with the national festival, the students had also made a ‘ Krishna jhanki’ in the School. The enthusiastic participation by the students and well organized programmes made the day special and joyous for all.

The Vice Chairman of the School, Mr. Kuldeep Goel, along with the other dignitaries of the town graced the occasion and encouraged the students with his presence.

STUDENTS ENLIGHTENED ON THEIR ROLES AS CITIZENS

 An awareness programme on the basic problems of Agra. which include water traffic and garbage management, was organized in the school on August 11,2017.

The resource persons from’Jaladhikar’ foundation enlightened the students on the need to be pro-active citizens and raise their voice for the development of the city.

INTERHOUSE ENGLISH DEBATE COMPTETION

An  Interhouse  Debate (English) was organized for the students of grades VI –XII on Aug 10,2017.

The Topic for the seniors was (Indian Society is becoming Involvement) and the juniors debated on the topic ‘Chinese Products should not be banned’.

The students represented their houses enthusiastically in both the groups .The debate also included rebuttal round in which the students questioned their opponents on their viewpoints

Tiger Day was celebrated in Sumeet Rahul Goel Memorial Senior Secondary School with great fervour and enthusiasm on 29th July,2017

 Tiger Day was celebrated in Sumeet Rahul Goel Memorial Senior Secondary School with great fervour and enthusiasm on 29th July,2017.

The aim of the program was to raise awareness and support for Tiger conservation issues.

The little ones of standard I presented an amazing tribal dance in their colourful vibrant attire. They showcased beautifully the joy, which the increase in tiger population brings to their lives as they celebrate the success story of the king of the jungle.

The students of std II presented “Eye of the Tiger’ -a scintillating dance performance displaying the strength, power and grace of this majestic creature

A dance drama “Nature’s Harmony” by class III,IV and V students exhibited the delicate balance of nature and how Tigers form an integral part of our eco- system which we can not afford to disturb.

A short movie on the plight of tigers “जीने दो हमें” was also shown which expressed the emotional saga of this charismatic big cat.

The program was graced by the School Advisor Mrs.Manoj Bal ,and Vice Principal Mr.Surendra Pal Singh.
